Remsa now offers to the Australian market their range of heavy duty line of disc brake pads for truck & trailer vehicles. Remsa is a global brand and has extensive experience in manufacturing quality friction materials and the latest technology applied to its production processes.

Years of R&D and countless tests means Remsa Heavy Duty Line offers:
- A new friction material capable of withstanding the most extreme conditions, keeping an efficient and safe brake sensation.
- Remsa has developed its own in-house back plate. Accurate cut, high quality, steel made.
- An improved underlayer that connects backing plate and friction material with adhesive properties to withstand high temperatures.
Under control
The manufacturing process is on automatic deep molding presses which are able to control temperature and processing time on each individual part:
- Low organics content
- Correct dosage mix
- Avoids premature wear

- Uniform proportion prevents cracks on the friction material
Temperature control
- All friction components bond together and pervade the entire pad in a homogeneous way
Performance
Our tests for Remsa pads follow requirements of international protocols; in the most demanding braking conditions showing a behaviour that exceed original equipment figures, both in cold braking and at high speed.
ECE R-90
regulation 90, derives from European Directive 2002/78 CE which requires all manufacturers of friction materials in the replacement parts market to have all product types approved. Tests are the same as those requirement for type approval of the Original components.

Type approval for replacement parts requires specific tests on top of those demanded on Original components.
